17 amp, 28 V Lycoming / Continental Generator

Monkworkz has again taken advantage of updates to power electronics technology and can now support using the same generator set on both Continental and Lycoming engines where the vacuum pad gear ratio is 1.5:1 (Most Large bore Continental engines) or 1.3:1 (Most Lycoming and similar engines). This drops the “L” or “C” from Legacy model numbers. Specifically the 14 Volt MZ-30L and MZ-30C are both replaced by the new identifier MZ-30. Similarly legacy 28 Volt MZ-17L-28 and MZ-17C-28 are both replaced with MZ-17-28. MZ-30 Lycoming performance is identical to MZ-30L performance, however Continental engines will start getting more generator power at approximately 13% lower RPM when compared to MZ-30C performance.
